About Zendo Studio

My name is Zhuoqi Zhang, an artisan from Zhejiang, China. I am an artisan who treasures the slow, mindful art of working with plants.

I create botanical incense beads, known as #HeXiangZhu, by grinding herbs into fine powders, hand-rolling them into beads, and allowing them to dry naturally to release their subtle, lasting fragrance. This craft has been passed down in China for over a thousand years.

I blend this ancient craft with modern aesthetics, incorporating elements such as obsidian and crystals. My hope is for each bead to hold its timeless ritual spirit while becoming a gentle, wearable companion in your daily life.
