About Zendo

My name is Zhuoqi Zhang, and I’m from Zhejiang, China.

Most days, I sit alone at my table, blending lavender, sandalwood, and herbs into tiny beads. Each one carries the quiet scent of plants, shaped slowly by my hands and time.

For me, fragrance shouldn’t just vanish into the air. I want it to stay close, as a gentle companion through day and night.

Zendo isn’t a factory. It’s just me, working quietly and thinking deeply.

I chose the name Zendo because I wanted a space where fragrance and silence come together, creating small rituals for calm and rest.

Besides crafting incense beads, I share stories on Medium and sometimes film short moments of this quiet journey.

I hope to leave behind a trace of scent—and a little peace.
