Handmade incense and gifts

Self Care Gifts

How preparation gives natural incense its forms

We source each botanical from the region where it grows best, then prepare it by hand in rural Zhejiang, with no synthetic fragrance. Three forms, each made to order, each a quiet gift: one to give, one heated without smoke, one worn as a bracelet.

The Shared Beginning

Process changes a material

Before it has a name, it begins as a plant

Step 01

Plants

The materials are gathered close to their original form, with texture, color, and scent still present.

Step 02

Selection

We pick the intact, fragrant pieces by hand and set aside anything broken, dull, or unsuitable.

Step 03

Drying

We dry it slowly so the material settles before it goes down its different crafts.

The Process Divides
