No. ZendoDream works with botanical materials, not a synthetic fragrance built to project nonstop. The scent may feel present at certain moments and quieter at others, depending on the material form, temperature, distance, airflow, and how you use it. That rhythm comes with real plants.
All three begin as the same botanicals, ground to different degrees — coarsely crushed for the sachets, 50-mesh for the pellets, 120-mesh for the beads. The finer the grind and the tighter the material is pressed, the more slowly the scent leaves it. Herbal Sachets give a gentle everyday presence and soften gradually over time. Incense Pellets release scent through gentle heat, stronger and more atmospheric, for a shorter period. Incense Beads are strung into a bracelet you can wear on its own or stack with your other pieces, holding scent close to the body with a quieter, slower, more private release.
It depends on the format. Herbal Sachets usually offer 2–3 weeks of clear aroma, depending on the botanicals and how much the pouch holds. A softer trace may continue beyond, and a spare inner pouch comes with every sachet, so a set lasts roughly 4–6 weeks. Incense Pellets release their aroma mainly during heating and are intended for a single quiet session. Incense Beads usually hold a clear aroma for 6–12 months, with a quieter trace that may remain longer depending on material and use.
Materials and Safety
The scents come primarily from real plant materials, including flowers, herbs, woods, resins, peels, and a few prepared aromatic materials. Different materials suit different formats: some are best at room temperature, some open with heat, and some are prepared to stay close to the body or a personal object.
We avoid synthetic fragrance, alcohol carriers, phthalates, artificial preservatives, and artificial fixatives. ZendoDream focuses on the scent of the plant material itself, rather than the standardized accords of commercial perfume.
Not always. Natural materials can still cause sensitivity for some people. If you are sensitive to essential oils, spices, woods, resins, flowers, pollen, or smoke, start with low intensity, greater distance, and shorter sessions. If you are pregnant, have asthma, severe allergies, or specific health concerns, review the ingredients carefully and use with caution.
Most of the worry around incense comes from burning it: a lit stick or cone turns plant material and binders into smoke and ash. Ours is never burned. Herbal Sachets and Incense Beads release their scent at room temperature, and Incense Pellets are heated at around 150°C / 300°F, not lit — so there is no smoke and no ash. The scent comes from real plant materials, with no synthetic fragrance. Natural materials can still cause sensitivity for some people, so see the question above before you begin.
How to Use
Herbal Sachets are made to be given, or kept close — hung from a bag or set by the bed. The scent stays near you and never fills a room. Each sachet is two pouches: a cotton-linen inner pouch that holds the botanicals, and an outer pouch of silk gambiered gauze lined with cotton-linen. The inner pouch is the part you replace, and a sealed spare comes with every sachet — when the first one softens, swap it in. The silk outer pouch stays with you; nothing is thrown away but the botanicals themselves. Incense Pellets are heated, never burned: set one or two pellets on a warmer at around 150°C / 300°F and let the heat draw the scent out slowly, adding another if you want it stronger. Two kinds are common — a ceramic tealight burner, simple and hard to break, and an electric burner, which holds the temperature steadily and needs no open flame, though like any appliance it can fail. Incense Beads are made to be kept close, worn, or placed near personal objects, leaving a soft trace of scent.
They fill more space than a sachet, but they are still not a loud commercial diffuser. Heat releases deeper aromatic layers from the materials, making Incense Pellets suitable for reading, meditation, quiet time, evenings at home, or any moment when you want a room to smell of something real. The actual range depends on the material, temperature, room size, and ventilation.
Start light, short, and at a little distance. Keep a sachet near you before carrying it close. Use a single Incense Pellet at a low temperature for a short session at first. Keep Incense Beads near you rather than directly against skin for long periods until you understand how your body responds to the scent.
Orders and Preparation
We do not keep stock on a shelf or run a factory line. Each format needs its own sorting, blending, filling, scent-setting, stabilization, or packaging. That time is what makes a piece balanced and properly finished.
No. Herbal Sachets are usually simpler to prepare. Incense Pellets require the materials to be portioned, kneaded with honey, hand-rolled, and left to dry. Incense Beads often need a longer period of preparation and stabilization. Please refer to each product page or order note for the most accurate timing.
Not exactly. Real botanical materials vary with origin, season, drying condition, and batch. We aim to keep the overall scent direction stable, while allowing natural differences in color, texture, scent strength, and aromatic layers.
Care
Keep the sachet dry and away from direct sun or moisture. Leave the spare inner pouch sealed until you need it — the seal is what keeps its scent waiting. The silk outer pouch can be aired out and kept for as long as you like.
Keep the pellets in their ceramic jar, in a cool, dry place, away from children and pets. Close the jar after each use so the remaining pellets hold their scent.
Avoid long soaking, strong friction, direct sun, and chemical cleaners. Wipe gently with a dry cloth if needed. The scent softens naturally with time and skin contact — that is just how plant materials behave.
